Punk Rock Luv

PunkRockLuv

Accrete with acetyl tones

acetone Persephone

pearl opalescence

melt my sandy grit

with the crush groove

of your hand-me-down heartache

I revel in and revile your distance

and wish you were hurting with me

this in an instance

of the smile you fake

and the hands you take to midnight

I want to whitewash your view of life

in this purview of strife you call home

bathe in the pheromones of that

angry fire burning on the edge of

the wasted woman behind those eyes

the ones that capture darkness in every angle of light

crossing your path and the aftermath

leaves me shaking like vodka-soaked relapse

synapse snaps to attention, tunneling my vision

right into the Arctic smile you rarely share

I dream of you and shadow and sundown

candy canes and cyanide, slow rides and low tide

I want you to take me higher, then drop me

like an apple and Sir Isaac Newton

force feed me your gravity, snake charmer

I’ll come when you whistle and chew

all the meat and gristle from the bone

a proper fuck on the methadone

you’re a sunrise surprise and hangover headache

hand-grenade waiting to be thrown

detonate me darling

and watch me die

come on concrete mama

I know you want to

I love the way I hate the way

I am without you

my acetylene blowtorch flame

come carve your intitials

into my name

  1. Where do all this come from? I see your experimenting with vocabulary words yourself.

“I want you to take me higher, then drop me

like an apple and Sir Isaac Newton

force feed me your gravity, snake charmer”

You’ve open up a surrealism of imagery that all us readers are feeding on your influence and inspiration. Brutally and Magnificently well done my friend. 🙂
